CASTLETOWN HOUSE

Nestled within 120 acres of scenic parkland in Celbridge, County Kildare, Castletown House is Ireland’s finest example of Palladian architecture and a truly unique venue for events. Combining historic grandeur with modern amenities, it offers a range of versatile indoor and outdoor spaces suitable for corporate functions, cultural gatherings, and private celebrations.

The beautifully restored Stable Wing features dedicated event spaces including the Hunting Room, Billiard Room, and Green Room. The Hunting Room, with its high vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, is ideal for larger meetings, lectures, or performances. The Billiard Room and Green Room serve well as breakout areas, intimate dining spaces, or reception lounges.

Inside the main house, the Entrance Hall provides an impressive setting with its sweeping staircase and classical stone detailing—perfect for arrivals or registration. The Long Gallery, one of the most striking rooms in the house, stretches over 80 feet and is adorned with decorative plasterwork and antique chandeliers, making it ideal for elegant receptions, concerts, or dinners. Smaller gatherings can be hosted in the richly decorated Dining Room, which accommodates up to 40 guests.

Outdoor lawns and gardens offer further possibilities for marquee events, photo sessions, or garden parties, with onsite support available for AV, catering, and coordination.
